So I have to say for real since I’ve been on Technics for a few decades. These tables really fit the bill on performance wise. I still say they’re over priced no matter of the pitch control options. A must have if you want some tables and really not sure about the Reloop 8000 like I was. Which I may still might get one just to try out later on down the line.
The build feels like a twelve with the weight. When you grab it you can tell that hard plastic at the bottom instead of the rubber on the twelve. I heard or read somewhere I’m not sure that Pioneer brought out Panasonic for the Technics 1200 blueprints. Cause when you first take it out of the box. You can still see the same design as a twelve.
The only thing too me is the tone arm does feel cheap. Not sure if you could replace it with a twelve hundred arm. And lets not forget about the jacks. No more soldering any more. Well not really simple fact you will need to still do the ground thing. Or setup your rca’s first and I’m not trying to explain that right now.
I’m straight with this purchase and relieved at the same time.
